Dominik Rohe

Head of Americas ETF and Index Business at BlackRock

Dominik Rohe, Managing Director, is Head of BlackRock's Americas ETF and Index Investments (EII) business, and a member of BlackRock's Global Operating Committee,EII's Management Committee, and Americas Executive Committee. He also chairs the iShares Americas Executive Committee.

Before assuming his current role, Mr. Rohe served as Head of Latin America, during which time he was responsible for all of BlackRock's activities across the region. Prior to that, Mr. Rohe was Country Manager of Australia and Chairman of the Australian Board.


He has also held several other leadership positions at the firm, including Head of the Wealth and Institutional businesses for Latin America & Iberia, where he was responsible for building BlackRock's business across both client segments and overseeing teams across seven of our offices in the region. In addition, Mr. Rohe has been part of BlackRock's merger integration teams, having worked on the integration of Merrill Lynch Investment Management in London and Frankfurt in 2007, and BGI's Latin America business in Sao Paulo in 2009. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2005, Mr. Rohe worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein on the private placement and frequent issuer desks within Debt Capital Markets for six years. 

He began his career as an Emerging Markets Credit Analyst at Republic National Bank of New York in 1997. Mr. Rohe was an NCAA Division I water polo player at St. Francis College, where he earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, in business administration with a minor in economics.

Mr. Rohe is a member of the American Council on Germany.
