The German and Irish domiciled iShares Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are UCITS¹ compliant funds that trade on major exchanges across the world. ETFs combine the diversification benefits of an open-ended index fund with the trading convenience of any blue-chip equity. ETFs are funds that aim to match the performance of a range of different market indices. ETFs provide investors with flexible, transparent, liquid and cost-effective access to a range of asset classes from developed, emerging and regional equity markets to corporate, government and inflation-linked bonds, to name but a few. iShares has ETFs trading throughout the world. This webpage contains details of the product range available to UK investors. iShares ETFs are sub-funds of iShares plc, iShares II plc, iShares III plc, iShares IV plc, iShares V plc, iShares VI plc or iShares VII each an open-ended investment company with variable capital incorporated in Ireland with segregated liability between its subfunds and authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland. The German domiciled funds are “undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities” in conformity with the directives within the meaning of the German Law on the investments. These funds are managed by BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG which is authorised and regulated by the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht.

Any dividend which has remained unclaimed for 12 years from the date of its declaration shall be forfeited and cease to remain owing by the relevant sub-fund of iShares plc, iShares II plc, iShares III plc, iShares IV plc, iShares V plc, iShares VI plc or iShares VII plc and shall become the property of the relevant sub-fund.
