U.S. Head of BlackRock Thematic, International and Sector ETFs
Jeff Spiegel, Director, is U.S. Head of BlackRock Thematic, International and Sector ETFs. In this role, he manages all aspects of these ETF businesses from product development and range management to research, sales and marketing. Jeff is also a prolific writer on the subject of thematic investing and a regular contributor of insights to an array of research and media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Barron's and more.
Previously, Jeff was a leader in BlackRock's U.S. and Canada Defined Contribution (DC) group, developing custom products to help DC consultants, financial advisors and plan sponsors achieve successful retirement outcomes for their plan participants.
Jeff's service with the firm dates back to 2013. Prior to joining BlackRock, Jeff was a Vice President with family office TLM Realty in New York City and before that worked in mortgage trading and structuring at JPMorgan and Bear Stearns in London.
Jeff earned a BA degree in philosophy and history from Brown University.
